HAPPY TIERS AND HAPPY TEARS: The ECBG Cake Studio Reveal Party!
Alert the press! ECBG Cake Studio has been in its forever home for A WHOLE YEAR! On June 1st we celebrated being in our permanent space for one whole year. Since 2017 ECBG has been renting kitchen space from others, but now we are able to showcase our Cake Studio! It truly couldn’t have happened without everyone who has supported us and continues to. Our beautiful space has everything we need, and all the space to learn and grow. We cannot wait to fill it with cake creations and a loving team of the best cake decorators and bakers in the city of Chicago!
The first year was CRAZY AMAZING( sometimes more crazy than amazing)! Because of this increase in capacity, we are able to take 4 times the business, introducing more and more people to our passion for cake! We live for being part of your most cherished celebrations and all of the important moments in YOUR life.
And because of who I am as a person we HAD to have an “Reveal Party” for our sweet space! I had to honor some of the most talented people in the industry whom I have had the utmost pleasure of working with, as well as the staff, friends and family who have made my dream a reality. Without these people ECBG would quite literally not exist and I am forever grateful they have chosen to trust and support ME!
With hair by the incomparable Alex Brown, and make up by wonderful Tricia Clarke Makeup, and of course a drink in hand, I was ready to party!
The dessert table of your dreams was made by our very own Katrina, who curated the items with so much love.
We feasted on wagyu sliders, delicious crudités, and signature cocktails from the talented Jane and the team at Entertaining Company!
The whole vibe was set by our favorite Dj Brent from Fig Media, a genuine and excited soul that always says and plays the right thing.
We also were able to give the most incredible swag bags this city has ever seen. Tokyo Nails, one of the most talented nail art places in Chicago, donated cuticle oil and a gift card! Our friend, Susie in the Stars made a gorgeous pair of earrings for each guest!
Everything was beautifully documented by the amazing Millennium Moments - the album from the party has so many sweet photos with so many options to choose from. EVERY photo was a stunner.
Our space was transformed with linen from BBJ Linen. I was OBSESSED with these vibrant fuchsia sequin pieces. They are totally on brand, and I need them everyday.
Katherine from Clover Events provided her planning services and coordinated everyone in order to make this the best, and most seamless party it could be.
