Order Up! Thank you for ordering from the ecbg cake shop.

Your order is now officially in progress. You should have received a calendar invite for your scheduled pickup or delivery date. We’ll also send you an email and text reminder when your cake is ready. We can’t wait for you to see it!

Note: Our cakes are made with three layers of cake and two layers of filling.
All cakes will be frosted with our vanilla Italian Meringue buttercream, with your chosen flavor and fillings. Our buttercream is VERY SUBTLY sweet. Be mindful that it will not be the powder sugar heavy frosting you may have had in the past.

Pickup Hours

Our pickup hours are Wednesdays-Saturdays at our bakery at 636 North Racine Avenue. You’ll receive a reminder via email and text when your cake is ready for pickup. If you can’t make it in the exact time you scheduled, our full pickup window is 11am-1pm. You may come in for pickup anytime during this window!

Tips for handling your cake

When you come to the bakery to pick up your cake, it will be ready in a to-go box. We recommend holding the cake (in and out of the box) with two hands from the bottom, straight and flat. Do not push down on the top or sides of the cake box.

Note: Once the cake has left our bakery, it’s in your hands. We do not offer refunds for cakes damaged after pickup or delivery.

Tips for the best taste & Texture

To ensure the most delicious texture and taste, cakes need to be kept at room temperature for at least 6 hours prior to cutting/eating.

Cakes will last in the fridge for one week and in the freezer for about a year, subject to the moisture of your fridge and the driving conditions and timing when being transported.
